International employee secondment
An increasing number of internationally oriented employers are appointing highly qualified employees to their foreign branch or a subsidiary company in another country.
In order to make a success of the assignment, the conditions under which such foreign assignments take place have to be attractive both for the employee seconded and for the employer. In addition to purely practical questions, such as for example the seconded employee's family matters, the organisation of his relocation and familiarisation with the conventions typical of the country, numerous complex legal matters have to be considered.
